About MFI Digit

MFI Digit is a technology partner specializing in WhatsApp-based service infrastructure for regulated financial institutions.

We work behind the scenes, helping institutions use WhatsApp as a secure service channel — similar to how mobile banking and internet banking are used today.

We are an approved WhatsApp Business Platform Tech Provider, authorized to design, deploy, and operate WhatsApp-based services for institutional use cases.

Our work focuses on enabling Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), Credit Unions, and other member-based financial organizations to deliver services securely through WhatsApp, particularly in mobile-first and low-bandwidth environments.

Our Role

MFI Digit does not provide financial services and does not replace institutional systems. We operate strictly as a technical enabler and integration partner, extending existing financial services to WhatsApp in a controlled and compliant manner.

Institutions retain full ownership of customer relationships, policies, data, and regulatory responsibilities.
